Growing Things.
A Mori poll has just come out
(Thanks to the N.F.U)
Two thousand adults quizzed about
The time of year plants grew
Imported food had these folks tricked
(Or so the paper said).
They didn't know when peas were picked
Or apples harvested
We know which season makes things grow
And when the crops arrive
We'll tell them, if they want to know,
How many beans make five.
Where do these witless people live?
(South London strikes a chord)
I'm absolutely positive
It isn't Buntingford!
